Veteran Care

Honoring those who served, and the families who loved them.

Many veterans and surviving spouses don’t know there may be VA benefits that help pay for care at home. We help families understand their options and get care started.

VA Aid & Attendance

The VA Aid & Attendance benefit is an add-on to the VA pension for eligible wartime veterans and surviving spouses who need help with daily activities. Once approved, the monthly benefit can be used toward in-home care. Your loved one’s condition does not have to be service-connected to qualify.

General Eligibility

  • Served during a recognized wartime period, with qualifying active duty
  • Discharged under conditions other than dishonorable
  • Needs help with daily activities like bathing, dressing, or eating
  • Meets VA income and net-worth limits (ongoing care costs are considered)

Surviving spouses of wartime veterans may also qualify. VA rules are specific and change over time, so we’ll help you understand where your family stands.

Care We Provide

  • Personal care and hygiene
  • Meal preparation
  • Mobility support
  • Light housekeeping
  • Companionship and routine
